From public service to popcorn
After a long career in public service, Karen Phillips turned toward something she had always loved: cooking for the people around her. She wanted to build something meaningful for her family.
Developing the PHOP signature
Karen began developing gourmet popcorn recipes with one idea in mind — deliver real, delicious flavor without the heavy coatings so common in specialty popcorn.
Andrew joins in
Working with her son Andrew, Karen turned that passion into a family business. Together they make, bag and share PHOP at local festivals, markets and events.
